SEO audit service: the $700 Visibility Audit
In shortThe Visibility Audit finds out why customers are not finding or choosing you. In 7 working days it checks where you rank on Google for your 10 most valuable searches, what ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say about you, why your website loses visitors, what your ads are wasting, and how you compare with two competitors. You get a ranked list of fixes and a 45-minute walkthrough, for a fixed $700.
What is included
- Where you rank on Google for your 10 most valuable searches, and who ranks above you
- What ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say about you, if they mention you at all
- Why your website loses visitors: speed, mobile, clarity and missing calls to action
- A quick review of your current ads: what is working and what is wasted
- How you compare with your two closest competitors
- A 45-minute walkthrough and a ranked list of fixes, most valuable first
Most SEO audits answer one narrow question, usually "what is technically wrong with the site?", and hand you a long report of warnings. The Visibility Audit answers the question an owner actually has: why are customers not finding you, and when they do, why are they not getting in touch? It looks at Google, AI answer tools, the website and the ads together, because the reason is often in the gap between them.
Who is the audit for?
It is built for owners of established businesses who are good at what they do and weak online. Typical starting points:
- You are not showing up on Google for the services you sell, or a competitor always ranks above you.
- Your website gets visitors but very few enquiries.
- ChatGPT or Perplexity recommends a competitor when someone asks who to hire.
- You are paying for ads and cannot tell whether they bring enquiries.
- You are about to spend on a new website, an agency or a retainer, and want an independent view first.
You do not need to know anything technical. You explain your business and your customers; the audit explains the rest in plain English.
What does the audit check?
Five areas, each judged by the same test: does it help the right customer find you and choose you?
| Area | What is checked | What you learn |
|---|---|---|
| Google rankings | Where you rank for your 10 most valuable searches, and who ranks above you | Which searches you are losing, and to whom |
| AI search | What ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI Overviews say about you for the same questions | Whether AI tools name you, ignore you or describe you wrongly |
| Website | Speed, mobile use, clarity of the message and calls to action | Why visitors leave without getting in touch |
| Ads | A quick review of current campaigns | What is working and what is wasted spend |
| Competitors | Your two closest competitors on the same points | What they do that you do not |
The Google part follows the same four-stage diagnosis described in the guide to getting enquiries from Google: whether you are found, ranked, clicked and chosen. The AI part follows the checks in the AI search visibility audit guide.
Is it a technical SEO audit?
It includes the technical checks that decide whether customers can find you: whether Google can find and index your important pages, how fast the site loads on a phone, and whether search engines and AI tools can read who you are and what you do. Speed is measured against Core Web Vitals, the measures Google publishes for loading, responsiveness and visual stability.
The difference from a typical technical audit is that every finding is ranked by what it costs you in customers, not by how many warnings a tool produced.
Muhammad spent five years as a frontend engineer before founding M/AFZAL, including work that made application loads 40% faster at Nextbridge. When a technical problem matters, the audit says what it is, why it matters and what fixing it involves, without burying it among issues that do not.
How does it work, step by step?
- You send a short brief. What you sell, who buys it and what is not working. The form at the bottom of this page asks the right questions.
- Muhammad replies to confirm the details. That includes the 10 searches and the two competitors to compare against.
- The audit is done within 7 working days of starting. Access is optional; a restricted Search Console login adds detail but is not required.
- You get the findings and a 45-minute walkthrough call. Every fix is explained, ranked and costed, most valuable first.
What do you get at the end?
A clear, costed plan you can act on, with M/AFZAL or without. Each fix states what is wrong, why it matters to enquiries, and roughly what fixing it involves, so you can hand it to your own developer, to your current agency or to anyone else. The plan is yours to keep either way.
You also get a recorded starting point. The rankings, AI answers and website measures taken during the audit become the baseline against which any later work can be judged.
How does it compare with other SEO audits?
SEO audit prices range from free automated reports to agency projects costing several thousand dollars or more. The guide to what an SEO audit costs explains what each level gets you and how to spot filler. Three differences matter most here:
- A person, not a tool. Automated reports list every warning they can find. This audit is done by one senior person who decides which findings matter for your business.
- AI search is included. Most SEO audits stop at Google. Buyers increasingly ask ChatGPT and Perplexity who to hire, so the audit checks what they say too.
- A fixed price, published in advance. $700 for every business, with the scope above. No call is needed to find out the price.
What happens after the audit?
Nothing, unless you want it to. Some clients fix everything themselves using the plan. Some need a new website, which is the Rebuild, from $1,500. Some want the work done every month, which is the Growth Partner retainer on the prices page. The audit tells you which of these you need, if either.
Straight answers.
What owners ask before they book.
- Do I need to give access to my website or accounts?
- Not to start. The audit works from what is public. If you add Muhammad as a restricted user in Google Search Console, he can read your search data without being able to change anything, and you keep ownership of the property.
- Which searches are checked?
- Your 10 most valuable searches: the ones a customer types when they are ready to hire someone like you. They are drawn from your brief and confirmed with you before the work starts.
- What if the audit shows I do not need anything?
- Then that is what you will be told. If a small fix is enough, the plan says so, and it is yours to keep whether or not you continue.
- Do you audit businesses outside the UK and US?
- Yes. The work is remote, with businesses across the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, wider Europe, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.
- Who actually does the audit?
- Muhammad Afzal, from the first reply to the walkthrough call. Nothing is passed to a junior or subcontracted.
